Oliver! was the last musical we staged last April and what a success it was!

Many congratulations to the whole Company for a splendid production of Oliver on Thursday. There was real character coming through and the chorus work was very very good indeed. The scenic arrangements worked well and of course the use of characters to clear, change and build the set in full light and with action proceeding was first class. The orchestra was good. You have a company there to be proud of and certainly for some the possibility of an ongoing career. Please convey my congratulations to everyone involved

Audrey and I both thoroughly enjoyed the show, Anna Lawrence's direction was first class I think we said it all on the night but would like to reiterate our thanks for the good work that DOSYTCo does with youngsters. There were some high standards set by the senior players and some real gems amongst the younger players. Your use of the stage was ingenious, the set was very cleverly conceived and manipulated and the costumes and lighting were all first class.

” I went to see the production of Oliver on Friday night and was completely captivated, so much so that I booked again for Saturday. What an absolutely wonderful show. A huge cast, many lead roles all superbly played. It is hard to believe that these amazing performers are all 18 and under. Well done to everyone involved.”

DOSYTCo is an amateur dramatics society for ages 7-19. Based in Dereham we serve to not only inspire young people to take to the stage but hopefully give them the training and advice they need to help them pursue (should they wish) a career in Musical Theatre.

what we do
We invite members from the local area to take part in our main musical which we perform in the Easter Holidays, as well as our summer concert which usually takes place in the summer holidays.
We encourage members to take part in all aspects of theatre and provide workshops to provide the members with the skills to produce what we believe to be a fantastic quality of show to the public.
