DOSYTCo (Dereham Operatic Society Youth Theatre Company) is the youth section of Dereham Operatic Society (DOS). The society is a registered charity and is affiliated to NODA.

The day to day running of DOSYTCo is managed by the committee elected at the Annual General Meeting which is usually held in March/ April every year.
The Youth Section Committee are all volunteers and usually have a specific role within the society. There are 2 representatives from the adult company on the committee and 2 youth representatives also who are elected by the youth members.
They play a very important role in feeding back ideas form the members to the committee and helping new members to settle in.
The youth representatives have to be 14 years or over to be elected. The committee are responsible for the day to day running of the company and for selecting which shows will be performed.
They are also responsible for selecting a director, musical director and choreographer for the show and for ensuring that everything is properly organised to enable to show to be performed.
